58th Annual Springtime Tallahassee Grand Parade

The 58th Annual Springtime Tallahassee Grand Parade returns to downtown Tallahassee on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., continuing one of the city’s most established and well-attended traditions.

The parade will feature more than 100 participating units, including decorated floats, marching bands, dance groups, Springtime Krewes, and community organizations from across North Florida and the Southeast. Each year, the event draws thousands of spectators and serves as a centerpiece of Springtime Tallahassee weekend.

The parade steps off on Monroe Street just south of Brevard Street and travels south through downtown, passing the Florida Capitol, before ending at Madison Street. The route offers clear sightlines through the heart of the city and provides multiple viewing areas for families and visitors.

Springtime Tallahassee’s first parade, held in 1968, featured costumed participants and horse-drawn units. While the event has grown considerably over the decades, it continues to reflect the community involvement and regional participation that have defined it from the beginning.

Today, the Grand Parade includes large mechanical floats and coordinated performance groups representing organizations from throughout the southeastern United States. Recognized as one of the largest parades and craft festivals in the Southeast, Springtime Tallahassee attracts more than 70,000 spectators annually, making the Grand Parade a signature event for Tallahassee residents and visitors alike.
